The gallery and handmade furniture workshop are located at the pretty village of Reeth in beautiful Swaledale within the pretty heart of Herriot country and in the magnificent north Yorkshire Dales National Park.

Craftsman Philip Bastow enjoys the ideal rural setting for his personal creation of exquisite, fine handcrafted furniture. Philip specialises in the design and handmade manufacture of individual furniture commissions using mainly oak, ash, elm and sycamore. From the initial design to the careful selection of the timber, to the final polish and hand wax, the attention to detail is thorough.

Philip Bastow commenced his hand-crafted furniture business over 30 years ago in 1982, after serving a five year traditional appreticeship in his craft.
